Drug Manufacturing Technician

This position is located in Des Plaines, IL Title: Drug Manufacturing Technician Location: Des Plaines, IL Duration: 12 Months Contract (Strong possibility for extension based on budget and performance) Hourly Rate on W2: $22.40 Shift: 2nd shift: 2pm-10:30pm 3rd shift:10pm-6:30am JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsible for proper maintenance and operation of drug manufacturing equipment. Accurately weighing raw materials and active ingredients and combining them into a blend. Keeps the equipment and facility clean and in a state of good repair. Participates in the completion of work orders, including batch record documentation per cGMP (current good manufacturing process). Accurately follows and completes documentation with minimal errors or corrections. Completes training, including cGMP and safety training in a timely manner. Must be able to work alone or in a team and can follow procedures exactly. QUALIFICATIONS Entry level HSD or GED equivelant required.
