Registered Nurse - II SJCH 8 Peds Acute Care 8 ACU is an 18 bed General Pediatric Infant/Toddler unit primarily providing care for children age 0-6 years. Average daily census on the unit is 14 patients, with a blend of medical and surgical diagnoses. Common diagnoses include, but are not limited to, Respiratory Illness, Failure to Thrive, and Hyperbilirubinemia. The secured unit is composed of all private rooms. The staffing mix includes Registered Nurses, Patient Care Technicians, and Unit Secretaries. The Medical University of South Carolina is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
