Maintenance Technician Packaging Corporation of America 6479 Chupp Road, Lithonia, GA 30058 Pay Range: $24.23 - $38.00 based on mechanical and electrical skills and experience. Technicians supply their own basic hand tools. PCA provides a tool stipend (or replacement) to help technicians maintain basic hand tools. PCA provides all special and heavy tools. PCA provides Safety shoes and Safety Glass stipends PCA provides Uniforms for Maintenance Technicians Responsibilities This position is based at the PCA Box Plant located in Lithonia, GA. This position will perform a variety of maintenance tasks including diagnosing, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on plant equipment. Technicians work as part of a team to safely perform Preventive Maintenance Activities as well as answer break down calls in a Production Environment. All Maintenance Technician positions are Multicraft and training is provided to develop these skills. Basic Qualifications 2+ Years' experience in successfully troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery. A Technical Degree in the Electrical or Mechanical Trades is a plus. Strong Electrical experience is a preferred. The production schedule is 3 shifts. Maintenance Technicians are placed on shifts according to plant needs and seniority. Currently seeking candidates with open availability. Opportunities to change shifts are available when organization changes occur or production schedules change. Be Authorized to work in the US.
