PGS Worldwide is seeking a Subcontract Administrator in Lexington, KY for a 1-year contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. This position supports the SOF GLSS (Special Operations Forces - Global Logistic Sustainment Services) program and manages a global supply base that directly supports mission-critical sustainment efforts. The role is primarily on-site for training, with potential for remote work discussion after training based on demonstrated performance and immediate impact. Required Skills Experience in government procurements/subcontract acquisitions with strong knowledge of global supply chain and government procurement best practices Demonstrated proposal evaluation experience (price/cost analysis) and negotiation experience aligned to FAR/DFAR Ability to analyze cost/price data across multiple sources and establish negotiation positions Experience developing and managing Statements of Work (SOW) Experience with Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBA) and labor contract environments Strong written/verbal communication skills, including executive-ready status reporting Experience leading teams and project initiatives; strong critical thinking/problem solving (Lean exposure a plus) Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with strong organizational discipline Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance Preferred Skills Working knowledge of common DoD contract types SAP experience Experience establishing new suppliers and driving supplier performance Background in competitive and non-competitive price agreements Experience leading complex negotiations and/or Subcontract Management Teams (SMT) Familiarity with Special Operations Forces (SOF) contract environments What You'll Do Administer and manage subcontracts end-to-end (RFP through award/contract creation and lifecycle management) Own subcontract cost, schedule, and performance execution; drive corrective actions and "return to green" recovery plans Conduct price/cost analysis, support proposal evaluations, and lead negotiations in accordance with FAR/DFAR Partner with compliance teams to support audits and maintain documentation integrity Provide concise, accurate status updates to senior and executive leadership Collaborate cross-functionally with program teams to ensure subcontract alignment to program requirements and delivery commitments Job ID: 20072 "Military veterans and transitioning military members are encouraged to apply to all PGS Worldwide positions.
