Audubon is currently seeking a QAQC Inspector to join our team in our Houston, TX Energy Corridor Office. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Implementation of Audubon Construction Solutions Quality Management System and overall quality performance Manage the Quality Control and Assurance program for the project Assist the Project Managers to set up, monitor, and maintain the Quality Management System project execution tools. Assure proper Inspection Test Reports are implemented and fulfilled throughout duration for the project Liaise with Supervision to ascertain and integrate quality management techniques that would benefit the project. Assure compliance with Audubon Construction Solutions standards. Interface with Corporate Management for technical support in Mechanical, Civil, Coating, Electrical and Structural documentation and other quality related practices and applications Coordinates with Corporate Management for weld procedures and weld certifications and monitors weld program onsite Monitor surveillance trends, NCRs, and subsequently surveillance testing activities for the project. Communicate any non-conformance and defects that may impact requirements for design, safety assurance, construction, commissioning, maintenance, or operations Maintain Inspection Test Plan for project activities and disciplines Maintain the Audubon Stage-Gate Project Management Process. Remain abreast of Industry "State of the Art" project management tools and practices. Health, Safety, and Environmental Responsibilities: All employees are responsible for supporting Audubon Companies' Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures. This includes: Performing duties in a manner that protects personal and team health and safety Participating in required HSE training, meetings, and reporting activities Identifying and reporting hazards, near misses, and unsafe conditions Following safe work practices and complying with applicable regulatory requirements EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS: CWI (Certified Welding Inspector) required. Multi discipline experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control 10+ years' experience in construction company or related environment including 5 years' management experience. Excellent speaking, writing, communication, and organizational skills; public speaking a plus. Prior technical writing and/or project leadership experience a plus.
