Pharmacist in Charge - Nacogdoches, TX (New Pharmacy Opening - April 2026) Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent Schedule: Monday-Friday | ~8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Pharmacist in Charge to lead operations at a newly opening retail pharmacy in Nacogdoches, Texas. The pharmacy is scheduled to open on April 10, 2026 , with an offer target by March 16, 2026 . This role is ideal for a Texas-licensed pharmacist with strong retail management experience. Key Responsibilities: Review and dispense prescriptions for accuracy, legality, and appropriateness. Manage daily pharmacy operations, inventory, stocking, labeling, and expiration control. Counsel patients and ensure proper medication usage and dosing. Maintain patient profiles and medication histories. Ensure compliance with HIPAA, Fraud/Waste/Abuse standards, and all regulatory requirements. Supervise pharmacy technicians, including scheduling, performance oversight, and reporting issues to management. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: PharmD from an accredited institution. Active Texas Pharmacist License required (no pending applications). 3-5 years of retail pharmacy management experience preferred. Strong communication, leadership, and system proficiency. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform fine motor tasks.
