We are looking for the individual who wants to play a crucial role in growing Benesch one candidate at a time. The Recruiter is responsible for assisting with recruitment of support staff across all Benesch offices. The ideal candidate will have experience in recruitment or human resources, along with a deep knowledge of the screening, interviewing, and hiring processes. The Recruiter should be passionate about discovering untapped talent, driving company growth, and working with the Senior Recruiter to leverage recruiting tools and actively promote Benesch as an employer of choice. Essential Functions: Initiates and manages support staff searches for assigned non-attorney positions across all Benesch offices. Reviews and confirms information on all job requisitions and tailors job searches according to specific parameters and scope as outlined. Ensures all job postings are accurate, detailed and compliant in the recruitment of new Benesch support staff. Reviews, screens, interviews and dispositions all applicants that apply directly or are submitted through a third-party recruiter. Assumes a visible role by establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with colleagues in other departments and at all levels of firm management. Keeps abreast of industry trends and maintains a knowledge of competitor law firms in markets where Benesch has an office presence. Maintains strategic partnerships with third-party recruiters and engages assistance as needed for job openings. Understands and is familiar with Firm systems, policies and procedures, client services and future goals in order to accurately communicate pertinent details to candidates. Accurately tracks candidate status via the Firm's applicant tracking software (ATS) and recruiting tracker in Excel. Leverages additional candidate sources and proactively recruits on platforms such as LinkedIn, Handshake, etc. Schedules interviews, collects interview feedback and candidate debriefs, etc. Coordinates with HR leadership on offers, manages the presentation of offer letters, and distributes signed offers to the HR/Finance teams. Other duties and projects as assigned. Qualifications: The Recruiter must have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related discipline and have 3 to 5 years of recruiting experience in the legal or other professional services industries. Experience in recruiting for a large, multi-office law firm is preferred. Must have superior interpersonal, written and communication skills, and the ability to interface effectively, professionally, courteously and confidently with candidates and all team members at the Firm. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word) and Adobe Acrobat; experience with applicant tracking systems or a demonstrated ability to master new software programs. The salary range for this position is $65K to $92K. Base pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base pay is only one part of the Total Rewards that Benesch provides to compensate and recognize our staff professionals for their work.
