Associated Nephrology Consultants Location: On-site Schedule: Part-time (flexible; see below) Position Overview Associated Nephrology Consultants is seeking a Part-Time, On-Site Office Manager to serve as the primary operational and administrative presence in the clinic. This role works closely with the Practice Administrator as the on-site "boots on the ground," supporting daily clinic operations, staff needs, and provider workflows. The ideal candidate brings a clinical background (RN or Medical Assistant preferred) combined with lead, supervisory, or management experience, and is comfortable balancing administrative leadership with occasional hands-on support when needed. Schedule The anticipated schedule is: Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM Tuesday, Thursday: 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM We are open to flexible or rotating schedules (e.g., alternating weeks of mornings or afternoons) depending on candidate availability and clinic needs. Key Responsibilities Clinic Operations & Leadership Serve as the on-site operational lead, partnering closely with the Practice Administrator and physician leadership Oversee day-to-day clinic operations to ensure efficient patient flow and staff coverage Monitor clinic schedules and staffing needs; assist with coordination of coverage for sick calls, vacations, and unexpected absences Act as a point of contact for staff and providers regarding operational questions or concerns Staff Support & Supervision Lead, mentor, and support front office and clinical staff Assist with onboarding, training, and ongoing staff development Address day-to-day HR-related issues as they arise and escalate as appropriate Promote a positive, professional, and collaborative clinic culture Administrative & HR Support Assist with HR-related processes in collaboration with the Practice Administrator and external partners Interface with credentialing teams and support credentialing and related administrative processes Support compliance with internal policies, procedures, and healthcare regulations Maintain organization of clinic documentation and administrative records Clinical Cross-Coverage (As Needed) Provide cross-coverage support during staff absences (sick calls, PTO, etc.) as needed Step into clinical or front-office workflows when necessary to maintain smooth operations Qualifications Prior experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Medical Assistant (MA) strongly preferred Previous lead, supervisory, or management experience in a medical practice setting Strong understanding of clinical workflows and medical office operations Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Comfortable serving as a liaison between staff, providers, administration, and external partners Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with leadership
