Assembler II

Assembly Specialist SmartTalent Lynnwood is seeking detail-oriented Assembly Specialists to support the installation of bushings, fasteners, and sealants in precision-machined components for a client in Everett, WA. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to read technical drawings, and a commitment to quality and safety. LOCATION: Everett, WA PAY: $24 - $27 (Payrate will depend on shift and level of experience) SCHEDULE: 1st Shift: Monday - Thursday 5am - 330pm 2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday 3:20pm - 1:50am Weekend Shift: Friday - Sunday 5am - 6pm (must be willing to train on day shift for 6-8 weeks BENEFITS OFFERED: Paid Weekly, Direct Deposit, Affordable Health Care, Full-Time, Career Advancement Opportunities Key Responsibilities: • Install bushings using press-fit, shrink-fit, and sealant methods per work instructions and drawings. • Ream and bore bushings before and after installation to meet size, roundness, and concentricity requirements. • Drill, ream, deburr, and countersink holes to required tolerances. • Install rivets, permanent fasteners, nuts, and bolts using hand tools and powered equipment. • Apply proper torque and install safety devices such as cotter pins, torque stripes, and lockwire. • Apply sealants, adhesives, and touch-up paint following material handling and shelf-life guidelines. Qualifications: Assembly Specialist II • 6 months - 1 year of experience assembling precision-machined parts • High school diploma or GED Preferred • Experience in a high-volume or aerospace assembly environment • Technical or trade-school training in precision or aerospace assembly Apply today and one of our recruiters will help you get started asap!
