ApplyView full description and dutiesProjected Pay Schedule (subject to change)$1,000.00 on 3/2/2026$1,000.00 on 4/1/2026$1,000.00 on 4/24/2026Principle DutiesStaff collaboration, including:Utilizing assigned CFS tools and applications, like AirTable and SlackParticipating fully in meetings and training as assignedCollaborating productively with CIFF staff and volunteersAddressing conflicts proactively inside of CIFFs pathways to resolutionCollaborating on accessibility initiatives across departmentsPerforming additional duties as assignedFestival execution, including:Attending Education team meetings and regular check-ins, communicating openly and collaborating freelyCorresponding with staff regularly via Slack, radio, and in-person communicationsManaging communications, orders, and logistics for bus transportation of students to FilmSlam screeningsPreparing supplemental materials - including maps, schedules, and related documents - for FilmSlam participantsDistributing and utilizing supplies and equipment as assignedLiaising frequently with Venue Operations and Volunteers staffDelivering frictionless data to Education staffPost-Festival documentation, including:Documenting departmental procedures alongside Education DirectorReturning equipment and supplies to storage and organizing as assignedProviding post-Festival notes, feedback, and reportsParticipating in an exit interview as scheduledSkills, Experience, QualificationsExperience managing logistics in live events, performance, backstage, or film production (2 years preferred)Experience in transportation logistics or related field (2 years preferred)Experience creating clear, economical written communications (2 years preferred)Strong initiative, sense of urgency, and ability to work with a high degree of autonomy.High level of comfort handing pressure and understanding deadline-driven environmentsAttention to detail and a high level of accuracyExcellent organization, planning, and productivity skillsImpeccable verbal and written communication skills Ability to work nights, weekends, and long days during scheduled Festival eventsAbility to move between venuesHigh technical aptitude, including proficiency in Google Workspace, Slack, Mailchimp, and virtual meeting platformsWorking ConditionsThis position will require prolonged sitting, standing, and frequent moving during working hours. This position may require lifting, carrying, and loading equipment weighing up to 40 pounds. (Accommodations available.)LocationCleveland Film Society staff work in a mostly remote environment, with increasing time on site(s) as the Festival approaches. Festival events will occur at Playhouse Square, Idea Center, Cedar Lee Theatre, and other sites as scheduled. Candidates should be geographically based in Greater Cleveland by March 2026 for pre-Festival training, site visits, and preparatory work.
