It's really up to you!In this role, you will assess, diagnose, and treat individuals with fine motor delays and/or sensory processing issues. You will work primarily with pediatric patients qualified for services through the Department of Developmental Disabilities (DDD), in their home environment. Your expertise in occupational therapy and patient care will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients. Experience in feeding is a strong asset!ResponsibilitiesMeet with patients from many different backgrounds and compassionately discuss their health concerns and therapy needs with patient and family or caregiversConduct evaluations to determine a starting point for each patientCreate a therapy plan specific to each patient that will help them meet their mobility goalscomplete daily soap notes and quarterly progress reportsQualificationsMust hold the required state license for occupational therapyStrong communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent organizational skillsGood attention to detailThe ability to stay positive and compassionate over a long period of time with patientsEexperience with Feeding Therapy
