Position: - Wichita Thoracic Physician H Location: - the Robert J. Dole VAMC, 5500 E. Kellogg Ave. Wichita, KS 67218 Job description: - Services Provided: The Contractor shall provide Board Certified/Board Eligible Thoracic Physician Services on site to beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and the Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center. Place of Performance: Contractor shall furnish services at the Robert J. Dole VAMC, 5500 E. Kellogg Ave. Wichita, KS 67218. Hours: 567 Hours required yearly of Thoracic Physician Services Thoracic Surgery services will be provided on Mondays for one (1) Outpatient Clinics during the hours of 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Central Time, OR cases as needed. On-Call: Contractor's physician(s) shall be available on-call during all hours when the Robert J. Dole VAMC clinic is closed, including evenings, weekends and holidays. On-call coverage, 24/7 Weekend: 8:00 a.m. Friday - 8:00 a.m. Central Time, Monday, 24-hour shifts Weekday: 4:30 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. Central Time, the following day Monday - Thursday Holidays: 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 a.m. Central Time, the following day. Should a Holiday fall on a weekend, the Holiday will be recognized on the day observed by the Federal Government. License: The Contractor's physician(s) assigned by the Contractor to perform the services covered by this contract shall have a current license to practice medicine in any State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia when services are performed onsite on VA property.
