Job Description

Job Title Places, answers, and directs phone calls and distributes messages. Maintains calendar of classrooms and meeting rooms; reserves as needed. Prepares educational materials including handouts, graphics, and presentations. Maintains department records, including: list of educational offerings and attendees by department; list of safety course files as per AHA Training Center regulations and nursing continuing education records. Supports administration and maintenance of Learning Management System (LifeTalent). Maintains inventory of required educational materials; processes order entry; processes invoices for payment. Coordinates Occurrence Reporting System events and patient/family follow-up. Collects data and prepares reports from Occurrence Reporting System events. Coordinates and provides assistance on the use of PolicyStat. Assists with onboarding clinical new hires. Coordinates set-up, scheduling, materials and minutes for committee meetings. Minimum Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Associate's Degree in Secretarial Science from an accredited college or demonstrated relevant experience. Minimum Work Experience: Three to five years of secretarial and project coordination experience in a dynamic business setting. Required Skills: Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Proficiency with word processing, presentation, spreadsheet, and database computer applications. Notary Public preferred.
