Utility Service Technician Broad Creek PSD | Operations Department Broad Creek PSD is seeking a Utility Service Technician to support the operation and maintenance of our water and wastewater systems. This is an entry-level position with training opportunities and room for growth in the utility field. What You’ll Do: Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on water and wastewater facilities Assist with testing, documentation, and monitoring of treatment processes • Respond to system alarms, service calls, and field emergencies • Repair and install water and sewer lines, meters, and related equipment • Operate equipment such as backhoes and skid steer loaders Support general facility upkeep and safety practices What We’re Looking For: High school diploma or GED Valid driver’s license Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn Ability to work outdoors, lift up to 50 lbs, and participate in an on-call rotation Capable of obtaining water, wastewater, or distribution certifications (Class D or higher) within 2 years of application Why Work With Us: Stable public utility employment Hands-on training and certification opportunities Team-oriented work environment Meaningful work serving the community Location: Broad Creek PSD Status: Full-Time, Non-Exempt Pay: Starts at $24/hr Apply today to start a career in public utilities and essential infrastructure.
