Medical collection specialist

Position: Medical Collections Specialist (Bilingual - English and Spanish) Location: Dallas, TX 75204 Type: Contract to hire(4-month contract with the possibility of conversion to a full-time role) Schedule: Rotating shifts, Monday–Friday (No weekends) 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (5x8) 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM (4x10 – 1 week per month) 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM (5x8) (Must be available for all shifts — fixed 1-hour lunch break) Pay rate: $20/hr on W2 Qualifications: Must pass background check & drug screening Minimum 2+ years of experience in a high-volume call center or collections environment High school diploma or equivalent required Bilingual in English and Spanish Strong attendance record, punctuality, and excellent attention to detail Responsibilities Assist patients with outstanding medical bills (payments or payment plans) Handle both incoming and outgoing automated calls Work assigned accounts thoroughly and productively Complete meaningful collection activities with a results-oriented approach Follow all HIPAA guidelines
