Assistant General Manager

Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000/annually Job Summary: Under the direction of the General Manager, the Assistant General Manager is responsible for attaining the sale and profit targets established for Buona Restaurant and Buona Catering retail. Responsibilities: • Achieve sales targets • Recognize all revenue areas & development strategies to impact sales • Enforce and execute advertising and marketing plans, and HR and training materials • Manage and control direct expenses • Direct labor, food cost variances, repairs and maintenance, discounts, and other direct expenses • Selection, retention, supervision, and training of all employees • Conduct quarterly reviews • Adhere to established training programs • Determine advancement/termination • Develop employees into shift managers • Provide guidance to our talented & motivated team and lead them toward success • Embrace our balanced corporate structure and strong, family-culture • Enforce policies, procedures, and controls Qualifications and Skills: Minimum of 5 years in a AGM role (QSR preferred) Drive-thru and Catering experience preferred Familiar with and comfortable leading 10+ team members per shift Comfort working with budgets, payroll, revenue, and forecasting Strong knowledge of commonly used restaurant practices, concepts, and procedures Strong administrative, multi-tasking, organizational, and prioritizing skills Strong leadership and communication skills • Ability to lead 10+ team members per shift • Ability to work with budgets, payroll, revenue, and forecasting Benefits: • Medical, Dental, Vision & Life Insurance • Flexible Spending Account • 401(k) with 4% Employer Match • Quarterly and periodic bonuses • Work/Life Balance + PTO • Referral Programs ($1500 per referred manager) • Training & Development Programs Restaurant & Catering Discount
