Material Handler

Assembly Material Handler Location: Lenoir City, TN Material Handler for our Lenoir City Production Facility: In this role you will count, weigh or measure incoming shipments to verify information against invoices, orders and bills of lading. You will route items to various departments and put away stock while operating a lift truck or hoist. In addition, you will investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies while advising management of cycle count issues. Count, weigh, or measure items of incoming shipments in order to verify information against invoices, orders, bills of lading Examine and unpack incoming shipments; record shortages and reject damaged items Route items to various departments and put away stock items in proper location Operate lift truck or hoist Verify receipts and log them according to the required procedures Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies Conduct bin and stock maintenance (physically & in ERP system) Advise management of cycle count issues on a timely basis Receive all inbound parts & transfers Other duties as needed What You Will Need: High school diploma or GED equivalent 1+ year of related experience preferred Forklift operations experience preferred Ability to lift and carry up to 60 lbs up to 2/3 of workday Other physical activity include standing, climbing, stooping, bending, grasping, pushing, pulling, kneeling, and reaching Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $18.00 - $18.00 Per Hour
