About AnySignal AnySignal is building the next generation of RF products and services for the most demanding space and defense missions. Our platform delivers world-class RF performance while remaining flexible, deployable, and easy to integrate, monitor, and upgrade-something legacy systems struggle to do. Our team brings together deep experience across cloud computing, AI, communications and sensing, embedded systems, and hardware. We move fast, iterate aggressively, and build systems that are meant to fly. Why This Role Exists AnySignal's space customers rely on highly integrated RF hardware that must perform flawlessly in extreme environments. This role exists to own those systems end to end-from early architectural tradeoffs through manufacturing, qualification, and vehicle integration. As an RF Electronics Engineer on the Space team, you won't just design circuits. You'll shepherd RF devices from first schematic to on-orbit deployment, working closely with software, FPGA, mechanical, and supply chain partners to build robust space-grade communications systems. What You'll Own This is a full-stack hardware role with real technical ownership. You'll be responsible for the performance, reliability, and manufacturability of mission-critical RF devices used by space customers. You will: Own RF board and system architecture trade studies and component selection Bring up and test new RF designs from initial prototypes through flight hardware Design RF electronics to meet space-grade acceptance, qualification, and compliance requirements Build and execute test plans for acceptance and qualification campaigns Coordinate closely with digital electronics and FPGA engineers to bridge analog and digital domains Partner with mechanical engineers to ensure proper thermal performance Work with supply chain teams to enable rapid manufacturing and iteration Troubleshoot RF PCBAs and validate RF performance metrics in new designs Who Will Thrive Here You enjoy taking responsibility for complex RF systems and seeing them through to deployment. You're comfortable working across disciplines, navigating ambiguity, and making tradeoffs where performance, reliability, and schedule all matter. You care deeply about signal integrity, performance margins, and building hardware that works the first time-and keeps working in space. Required Skills Strong experience designing RF circuitry in microwave bands across RF front-end and data-conversion chains End-to-end PCB design experience, including schematic capture, layout, fabrication, and assembly Proficiency with RF and electronics design tools such as Keysight ADS, Ansys HFSS, and Altium Designer Excellent understanding of RF metrics (S-parameters, P1dB, noise figure, EVM, channel power, etc.) Experience with RF cascade design, link budgets, and noise analysis Hands-on experience with RF test equipment (VNAs, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, power supplies) Familiarity with LNAs, PAs, mixers, ADCs/DACs, PLLs, oscillators, and filters Nice to Have Experience designing complex PCBs in Altium Experience selecting components for radiation-susceptible or space environments Familiarity with platforms like AD9361, Xilinx RFSoC, or similar mixed-signal interfaces Strong hands-on soldering and rework skills (0402, SMP, QFN packages) Experience with communications link modeling and DSP fundamentals Knowledge of antenna design, simulation, and near-/far-field measurements Experience with high-PAPR signals and digital predistortion (DPD) concepts Why Join Now Joining AnySignal now means working on RF hardware that's actively flying-or about to. You'll have real ownership over space-grade systems, a direct impact on customer missions, and the chance to shape how next-generation RF platforms are built and scaled. We know no one checks every box. If this role excites you and you believe you'd thrive owning space RF systems, we encourage you to apply.
