Qualified candidates for this position will be expected to perform the following duties: Perform mechanical support associated with transmission testing: Transmission Build Experience. (Machining, following build books, fuji paper, measurement data) Standard transmission maintenances(fluid/filter change) Part changes (torque converter, valve body, etc). Light fabrication (MIG & TIG welding, machining, cutting, etc). Transmission teardown (torques, data collection, reviewing build books) Interact on a day-to-day basis with powertrain development engineers to perform work on a test article.
