Please read below and apply with an updated resume for consideration.Type: Ongoing temp to hire contract, opportunity for extension or fulltime offerSchedule: Monday - Friday, 8am to 5pmPay: $39- $55 Per hour based on experienceJob Summary:The Compensation Consultant provides analysis to ensure the effectiveness of the District's compensation program and to assist in the development of competitive pay models, the development and implementation of salary grades and the preparation of required proposals and analysis.Responsibilities of the Compensation Consultant: Assists departments in all compensation decisions and ensures optimal utilization of all salary information; makes recommendations that incorporate analyzing labor market data, internal equity considerations and anecdotal information that support business objectives for pay rate decisions. Analyzes the market competitiveness of the JPS compensation program and perform research, statistical analysis, and reporting. Develops, implements, and supports appropriate solutions (programs, processes, and tools) in support of providing effective client experience in relation to compensation; provides continual assessment of both existing and potential practices to ensure quality service delivery and alignment with business needs. Manages and leads assigned compensation-related projects. Develops and maintains relationships with Management to ensure appropriate solutions in support of organizational requirements by providing professional, analytical support for compensation programs. Prepares job descriptions while providing process guidance and utilizing benchmark job data consistent with market documentation Responds to inquiries from Management, providing assistance or information for defining and market pricing new positions and/or reevaluation of existing positions; participates in manager discussions regarding. Participates in all third-party surveys by preparing data input for participation in local, regional, and national salary surveys. Performs all other job related duties as required. Qualifications for the Compensation Consultant: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience) 3+ years of compensation experience, preferably in a hospital or healthcare system Strong knowledge of compensation structures, job architecture, and market pricing Experience conducting job evaluations, job leveling, and FLSA analysis Proficiency with compensation surveys (e.g., Mercer, Culpepper, Radford, Willis Towers Watson, or healthcare-specific surveys) Advanced Excel skills (market pricing, modeling, pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP) Experience partnering with HR, Talent Acquisition, and department leaders Certified Compensation Professional (CCP).
