2nd Shift General Helper

Position Summary: Specialty Products is seeking a 2nd Shift General Helper (2:00 PM to 10:30 PM) at the processing plant in Brook Park, Ohio. What you'll do: This job requires, but is not limited to the following duties: Operating a forklift while following all safety regulations Following all factory GMPs to ensure compliance to all internal and external standards General cleaning and housekeeping of production areas to ensure safety of employees and safety, legality and quality of product. This includes: General sweeping and vacuuming of production areas to remove product buildup on the floors, equipment and surrounding areas. Removal of trash, waste and recycle before shift end and as needed throughout shift or when instructed by the supervisor or management. Any specific cleaning tasks as requested by the supervisor or management Staging materials as needed throughout the shift. This also includes staging all materials for the next shift. Relieving other positions during breaks, lunches or in times of need per supervisor or management request. Ensuring the washroom is clean, organized and free from buildup throughout shift and before end of shift. This includes: Chemical cabinet locked and secured Floors cleaned, sinks free from tools and debris All tools hung properly What You'll Need: Manually lifting 50-70lb bags, boxes or tubs and moving pallets as needed High School Diploma or GED Prior work experience in a processing facility or in a fast-paced environment Self-starter with a positive attitude Ability to work overtime Who we are: Since 1849, America has trusted the Gorton's Fisherman.
