Join our team as an Avionics Technician dedicated to keeping Wisconsin's General Aviation fleet flight-ready. You'll work on a wide variety of airframes-from Cessna and Piper piston singles, light twins, to light jets. This role is perfect for a technician who enjoys the "hands-on" variety of GA, ranging from minor tablet-mount installs to full-panel glass cockpit retrofits. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, testing, and troubleshooting of aircraft electronic systems, including navigation, communication, and flight control systems, to ensure maximum safety and operational efficiency. Don't have Avionics experience but have an A & P license with experience? Don't be deterred; flight controls, engine monitoring systems, and aluminum fabrication are regularly part of our job scope. We can teach the rest! EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: 2+ years' working experience in aircraft avionics or maintenance Must possess the ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and installation instructions, CAD design not required but a plus Authorized to live and work in the U.S. as citizen or permanent resident HS Diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in Avionics or Aviation Technology preferred Certification: FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license or NCATT Aircraft Electronics Technician (AET) certification is highly desirable.
