Job Profile: Cardiovascular Rad TechnologistSTATUS: Fulltime LOCATION: Rochester General Hospital DEPARTMENT: Cath Lab SCHEDULE: M-F; Rotating shifts: 7 am - 3:30 pm, 7:30 am - 4 pm, and 10:30 am - 7 pm.On call: one weekend per month, one day per week, up to 3 holidays per yearSign-on Bonus: Up to $20,000SUMMARY As a Cardiovascular Radiologic Tech, you assist radiologists with radiographic procedures to ensure diagnostic quality and the maximum comfort and safety of patients who undergo procedures.ATTRIBUTES Excellent patient service skills Critical thinking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with minimal supervision Exceptional documentation skills and professional behavior RESPONSIBILITIES Patient Care. Perform radiography of patients in all assigned areas; maintain accountability for timely and proper service to patients during unsupervised shifts; provide on-call coverage for the Diagnostic Section of Radiology; provide excellent patient service General Maintenance. Clean, restock, and prepare rooms on a daily basis Documentation. Ensure concise and complete documentation of patient exams and related procedures, utilizing the RIS/PACS and inpatient charts as necessary Required Licensure/Certification Skills: NYS license in Radiologic Technology ARRT (R) Minimum Qualifications: Two-year college certificate or equivalent Strong computer, customer service, and communication skills EDUCATION:AS: Radiologic TechnologyLICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS:R - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.For disease specific care programs refer to the program specific requirements of the department for further specifications on experience and educational expectations, including continuing education requirements.Any physical requirements reported by a prospective employee and/or employee’s physician or delegate will be considered for accommodations.PAY RANGE:$33.25 - $45.50CITY:RochesterPOSTAL CODE:14621The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components.
