What You Will Do: On-Site Crib Maintenance Focal Work within a team of Quality Engineers to support data collection tasks on assigned hardware of both interior and exterior attributes Support tasks to include: receiving in aero engine hardware components from other P&W locations / sites into our inventory crib, organizing the crib by hardware type for ready retrieval of parts, and maintaining documentation of all hardware locations into and out of the crib Support Quality & Engineering team members in locating requested hardware using part tracking tools in MS Office Submit requests to customer points of contact via email for moving new hardware to and from the crib Follow up on parts in transit to required locations to ensure timely processing of project assignments Provide status updates on project objectives to Reporting Supervisor and / or Project Leader What You Will Bring: 2-5 years of direct experience performing warehouse management or logistics management activities in a Manufacturing environment Work experience within Aerospace & Defense Industry preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills Intermediate level competency in MS Office Tools Pay Range: $23 - $26 hourly rate Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan. Work Requirements: This role is considered an on-site position located in East Hartford, CT, USA. You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours. Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs. Travel Requirements: Not anticipated. 0-5% of travel may be requested depending on business need. Citizenship Requirement: Due to the nature of the work, U.S. citizenship is required.
