Job Description As an Assistant Project Manager, you will work alongside the Project Manager and Superintendent to ensure projects run smoothly from preconstruction through closeout. You will assist with scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor coordination, and maintaining accurate project documentation. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Assist in developing and updating project schedules and tracking progress. Maintain project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and change orders. Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and services. Support cost tracking, invoice review, and budget monitoring. Help enforce safety and quality standards on-site. Attend project meetings and prepare progress reports for stakeholders. Assist with bid solicitation, scope reviews, and subcontractor selection during preconstruction. Monitor project compliance with company policies and client requirements. Provide administrative and logistical support to the project team. The Successful Applicant Experience: 1-3 years in commercial construction or project coordination; healthcare experience a plus. Skills: Familiarity with construction processes, scheduling software (e.g., Procore), and contract administration. Attributes: Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills; ability to thrive in a team environment. Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
