If you thrive in a dynamic, global environment and are committed to delivering life-changing healthcare solutions, this opportunity is for you Job RequirementsRequired Skills: Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or related field; Master's or Ph.D. preferred Minimum of 4 years of experience in project management within diagnostic, biotech, pharmaceutical, or medical device industries Proven track record in managing product development and lifecycle projects, including companion diagnostics or biomarker development Experience with regulated industries (e.g., FDA, ISO standards) and clinical validation processes Strong expertise in project planning, risk management, scenario analysis, and critical path analysis Proficiency in Agile, hybrid Agile, and traditional project management methodologies, including SAFe practices Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, facilitate communication, and foster knowledge sharing Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills Nice to Have Skills: Experience with regulatory submissions and analytical/clinical validation processes Knowledge of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), or Outcome-Based Planning (OBPs) Familiarity with project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Planview) Previous involvement in global or multinational project environments Certifications such as PMP, PMI-ACP, or Scrum Master Preferred Education and Experience: Master's degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, or related disciplines with at least 6 years in project management within biotech/diagnostics sectors Alternatively, a Ph.D. with 3+ years relevant industry experience Minimum of 3 years experience in clinical biomarker or In Vitro Diagnostic (IVD) development, analytical/clinical validation, or instrument development Demonstrated success in managing projects compliant with FDA, ISO, and other regulatory standards Other Requirements: Ability to work on-site approximately 2 days per week at the Oro Valley, AZ campus; hybrid work arrangements preferred Willingness to manage global projects involving diverse teams and stakeholders Strong analytical skills for scenario creation, impact assessment, and decision supportMeet Your RecruiterJay Hite Recruiter, Account Manager As a Recruiter at Compass, Jay enjoys meeting job seekers and helping them to find new and exciting opportunities.
