Maintenance Planner

Maintenance Planner This role is a dynamic blend of office and shop floor activities, requiring effective use of PLEX Software. The planner will be instrumental in compiling and maintaining vital records related to inventory, purchasing, shipping, and more, ensuring the seamless operation of the Tool Crib and Stockroom. Responsibilities Compile data from contracts, purchase orders, invoices, requisitions, and accounting reports to maintain inventory, purchasing, shipping, or other records. Organize, maintain, and arrange the Tool Crib. Receive, unpack, and store incoming stock; manage the Stockroom. Keep a back order file in an established sequence and release back orders for issue or shipment as stock becomes available. Compile stock control records and information to determine stock supply and need for replenishment. Prepare requisitions, orders, or other documents for purchasing or requisitioning new or additional stock items. Verify accuracy of requisitions and shipping orders by comparing nomenclature, stock numbers, authorized substitutes, and other listed information with catalogs, manuals, parts lists, and similar references. Solicit and evaluate proposals for requested commodities. Prepare periodic inventory or maintain perpetual inventory of tools and equipment. Maintain records for repair orders and status of repairs for pumps, motors, etc. Confer with vendors in conjunction with purchasing to obtain product or service information such as form, fit, function, price, availability, and delivery schedule. Select products for purchase by testing, observing, or examining items. Prepare purchase requisitions. Maintain and administer PMWI files and prepare maintenance lube charts. Prepare shipping paperwork for repairable items and package repairable items for shipment. Essential Skills Maintenance Planning experience in an industrial setting. Proficiency with CMMS systems and Microsoft Office. Experience working with purchasing departments and outside vendors. Experience managing maintenance inventory and stock. High School Diploma (higher education preferred). Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience using PLEX Software is a plus.
