HR Generalist / Administrative Assistant (Hybrid) Location: Boston, MA Salary: $60,000$80,000 Status: Full-Time, Exempt About the Company: We are an HR consulting firm supporting hospitality clients across New England and other states. We provide hands-on HR support across the full employee lifecycle, combining day-to-day employee relations with compliance and culture-focused projects. Role Summary: The HR Generalist / Administrative Assistant supports hospitality clients with payroll, benefits administration, employee relations, and HR projects. This role requires strong organization, discretion, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, client-facing environment. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate employee onboarding and HR documentation Draft offer letters, job descriptions, and disciplinary materials Process bi-weekly and off-cycle payrolls Respond to employee and manager HR/payroll inquiries Maintain employee records (PTO, wage changes, benefits, workers' comp) Assist with health insurance, COBRA, and 401(k) administration Support employee relations, investigations, and terminations Conduct HR trainings (Spanish a plus) Qualifications: Strong organization, communication, and time management skills Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities Proficiency with Office 365, Google Workspace, and HR systems Ability to travel within the Greater Boston area Preferred: Spanish fluency Hospitality or restaurant industry experience Payroll or HR Generalist experience Schedule & Benefits: Hybrid schedule; MondayFriday, 9:00 AM5:00 PM Occasional evenings or weekends as needed Health & dental (50% employer-paid) PTO, sick time, paid holidays 401(k) and travel reimbursement Job ID: 171084 Nicole Bernard
