Machinist (Multi Spindle Machine / ACME) - Cleveland, Ohio - JOB 26-00138Pay Range: $30.00 - $35.00/HR Permanent Position with Benefits. Olmsted Falls / Cleveland, Ohio area manufacturer is seeking to hire an Acme Gridley Multi Spindle Machine Setup Operator REQUIREMENTS High School Graduate (Post-secondary, trade school and/or Journeymen's card is a plus) 10+ years' experience with setup and operation of Acme Gridley Multi Spindle Machine Familiar with blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, and part specifications Sample part to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpiece and sequence of operations Properly set up and operate various production machines to include Swiss (multi-axis), Acme (6 spindle) or Hydromat (rotary transfer) machining experience (or willing to learn). Mechanical aptitude to be Lathe Machinist (or willing to learn) co. will train Swiss or Hydromat experience is a plus Ability to read and properly use measuring devices, such as micrometers, calipers, go/no-go gages, and other inspection devices as needed Monitor set-ups of machines Part change and tool change for precision machining production Ability to read and interpret technical drawings / blueprints, specs, & tolerances to plan for parts production Day shift Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
