Job Description Communicate effectively with project managers, field teams, design partners, and clients regarding schedule development and updates Apply Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling to plan and maintain project timelines Read, interpret, and analyze construction drawings and specifications Lead development of baseline schedules, monthly updates, and recovery schedules with project teams Identify schedule risks and communicate impacts proactively Build Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and facilitate schedule input sessions Evaluate project performance by analyzing schedule, budget, and resource variances Prepare weekly and monthly reports, including updates, narratives, near-term schedules, and critical path summaries Use Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project to develop, update, and track schedule performance Monitor construction progress and confirm accurate status reporting Analyze delivery issues, claims, time extensions, and other schedule-impacting factors Collaborate with preconstruction teams to create proposal schedules and baseline schedules Engage with external scheduling consultants during reviews, claims analysis, or schedule audits Support training efforts for internal teams on scheduling processes and software tools Demonstrate expert-level knowledge of both P6 and MS Project, including when to select each tool based on project needs MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant A successful Construction Sr. Scheduler should have: Strong background in construction scheduling (industrial, manufacturing, life sciences, or technical projects preferred) Extensive experience with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project Ability to develop conceptual through fully detailed construction schedules Strong understanding of CPM, WBS development, and schedule risk analysis Experience coordinating with project management, field operations, and design teams Excellent communication and presentation skills Detail-oriented, disciplined, and able to identify potential issues before they impact project performance Strong cultural alignment: hardworking, competitive, team-oriented, confident but humble, growth-focused Stable career history (not jumpy); design-build experience preferred What's on Offer Competitive annual salary ranging from USD $140.000 to $180.000.
