Heres why caregivers like working for us: Flexible scheduling Pay raises available through our Personal Advancement Program Referral bonuses Caregiver awards and recognition program Designated employer of choice by Home Care Pulse Responsibilities and duties: Perform personal care activities that help the patient with daily living activities which include (but are not limited to): Personal hygiene (helping to go to the bathroom or use a urinal, bathing, oral care, shaving, skin and hair care) Ambulation/transfers Eating Dressing/shaving Prepare meals and snacks according to instructions. Accompany the patient on errands or medical appointments. Perform cleaning activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, washing dishes, changing bed linens, washing clothes and cleaning the bathroom Perform specific activities for the patient that are taught by a Right at Home nurse. These could include (but are not limited to): Medication reminders Helping with prescribed range of motion exercises Measuring and preparing special diets Understanding dementia care Incontinence care Qualifications and skills: Home health aide certification or certified nursing assistant certification (mandatory) At least 1 year of experience as a home health caregiver/assistant in home health care (in homes or facilities) (recommended). Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.
