Construction Project Manager

Construction Project Manager Actalent is seeking to hire a Construction Project Manager to be responsible for leading commercial concrete construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role involves developing project plans, managing budgets, maintaining schedules, and serving as the main point of contact between clients, design teams, subcontractors, and field personnel. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and extensive experience managing large commercial concrete scopes. Responsibilities: Develop comprehensive project plans outlining scope, deliverables, schedule, and resource needs. Manage project budgets, including detailed cost estimating, forecasting, contingency management, and financial reporting. Build and maintain detailed construction schedules covering design, procurement, structural concrete work, and turnover. Act as the primary liaison between owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams. Review, verify, and approve subcontractor and supplier invoices to ensure accuracy and alignment with contract terms. Deliver recurring progress updates to clients and key stakeholders, including schedule analysis, financial summaries, and project status reports. Support field operations by coordinating materials, logistics, manpower planning, and subcontractor sequencing. Essential Skills: 510 years of construction management experience, preferably with a concrete contractor or self-perform concrete division. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering preferred. Hands-on experience with large commercial projects involving structural concrete. Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Sage, and MS Project. Strong communication, planning, and leadership skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications: Experience in construction, construction management, RFI, commercial construction, concrete construction. Knowledge of change orders and budgeting. Experience with project management for a concrete contractor. Job Type & Location: This is a Permanent position based out of Portland, OR. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $130000.00/yr. 100% Paid M/D/V Bonus' paid based on company's performance.
