Perm candidates of any OTHER providence facility ( NON SWEDISH ) are eligible for a travel contract if they have been separated for at least 3 months. All Swedish facilities honor active compact license. DO NOT SUBMIT CANDIDATE IF THEY DO NOT HAVE A MIN OF 3-5 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE - NO EXCEPTIONS - MUST HAVE CURRENT SUPERVISORY REFERENCES - MUST HAVE PROOF OF REQUIRED CERTS WITH SUBMISSION. MUST PASS CLINICAL REVIEW NO EXCEPTIONS-DO NOT SUBMIT WITHOUT PROOF OF CURRENT NURSYS 3-5 years exp REQUIRED in high acuity & high pace environment Highly prefer RN's with 5 years of high risk experience but will consider candidates with 3 years or more experience as long as they have high risk exp UNIT DOES NOT ACCEPT FIRST TIME TRAVELERS. pre approved time off will be case by case basis - work every other weekend and Holidays as needed FLOAT REQUIRED: Post partum / Antepartum - may float to sister facilities that do Mother/Baby. -- Patient Diagnoses-- Midwifery clients, private OBs, Adult Recovery Services supporting substance recovery, Community care clinics as well EPIC HARDSTOP, electronic fetal monitoring Experience is valued // Staffing to follow AWHONN guidelines -- Special Procedures/Unit Details -- High Risk/High Volume L&D- all types 4 ORs Need high risk experience and able to work in fast paced, high acuity environments. Functions in the role of Baby Nurse during the delivery and continues care of the newborn until transfer to post partum- HARD STOP REQUIREMENT do not screen CIRCULATE - HARD STOP REQUIREMENT do not screen NB care, eyes, thighs, assessment Heparin, Insulin, Magnesium Sulfate CANDIDATES MUST - CIRCULATE and provide NB care including eyes and Vit K injections - thighs and newborn assessments - DO NOT SCREEN to facility if they do not have these skillsets HARDSTOP REQUIREMENT Avg Daily Census: 15/day; 500-600 deliveries/month Rooms: 31 Beds: 31 Schedule: Posted every 6 weeks and to meet units needs -- Certifications -- Preferred: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, AWHONN Intermediate Required: BLS, NRP
