Job Type Full-time Description The Sourcing Analyst will support the sourcing team in identifying, qualifying, and managing suppliers for automotive aftermarket products and components. This role focuses on data analysis, supplier performance monitoring, cost analysis, and supporting sourcing initiatives to ensure cost competitiveness, quality, and supply continuity. The position provides analytical and operational support for sourcing strategies and supplier negotiations. Key Responsibilities: Supplier Analysis and Support Collect, analyze, and interpret supplier data, including pricing, lead times, performance, and quality metrics. Support supplier onboarding, audits, and compliance checks. Monitor supplier performance through scorecards and identify improvement opportunities. Cost and Spend Analysis Analyze spend data to identify cost savings opportunities and sourcing consolidation possibilities. Support cost breakdown analysis (should-cost modeling, total landed cost). Perform market and commodity research Track and report cost reduction initiatives and sourcing KPI performance. Sourcing Process Execution Assist in RFQs (Request for Quotation), RFPs, and supplier bid evaluations. Maintain accurate sourcing data in ERP and procurement systems. Support negotiations and contract documentation under the supervision of senior sourcing staff. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with Product Management, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Planning teams on new product introductions and supplier changes. Coordinate with logistics and inventory teams to ensure timely material availability Requirements Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or equivalent. Skills and Competencies: Cost & Financial Acumen: Working knowledge of cost analysis, spend analysis, total landed cost, and should-cost modeling concepts. Sourcing & Procurement Knowledge: Familiarity with RFQ/RFP processes, supplier evaluations, contract support, and sourcing best practices. ERP & Systems Proficiency: Experience with ERP and procurement systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data analysis). Supplier Management: Understanding of supplier onboarding, compliance, audits, and performance scorecards. Market & Commodity Research: Ability to conduct market research and track commodity trends affecting cost and availability. Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in data entry, reporting, and documentation. Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and support sourcing initiatives in a fast-paced environment. Problem-Solving Mindset: Ability to identify improvement opportunities and support continuous improvement initiatives. Compensation : The salary range for this position is $50,000 to $60,000 annually, reflecting the anticipated compensation at the time of posting. Final placement within this range will be determined by several factors, including-but not limited to-education, certifications, relevant experience, skills, and overall business needs.
