Job Description Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic (Fork Truck Focus) Location: Holly Pay: $21.20 - $23.85/hr Shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm Are you a maintenance professional with hands-on experience repairing fork trucks and industrial equipment? We're seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic with a strong background in fork truck diagnostics, repair, and preventative maintenance to support daily manufacturing operations. Duties: Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on fork trucks, including electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and fuel systems. Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on fork trucks to ensure safe and reliable operation. Diagnose and repair issues related to steering, braking, lifting mechanisms, and power systems. Review maintenance schedules and assignments with the Maintenance Supervisor. Perform general maintenance and repair work on manufacturing equipment and facility systems. Complete bench jobs and other assigned maintenance tasks as needed. Report equipment issues requiring additional attention to the Maintenance Supervisor. Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas after completing repairs. Follow all ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 policies and procedures. Requirements: High school diploma or GED preferred, or equivalent experience. 5-10 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Proven experience repairing and maintaining fork trucks is required. Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems. Ability to work independently and manage maintenance tasks efficiently. Solid mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Ideal Candidate: Has hands-on fork truck maintenance and repair experience. Demonstrates consistent work history with longevity in maintenance roles. Is dependable, safety-conscious, and self-motivated. Brings strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills. Communicates effectively with supervisors and production teams.
