Job Summary: Goldman Sachs is a leading global investment banking, securities and investment management firm. They are seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to collaborate with a global team to build customer-centric products, analyze software for improvements, and follow standard development practices. Responsibilities: • Collaborate with a global cross functional team in building customer-centric products • Analyze existing software to identify areas of improvement and provide estimates for implementing new features • Follow standard software development guidelines and best practices • Create and maintain test plans, documentation and automated tests for all technical changes • Grow your technical skillset by seeking out cross-training and knowledge advancement opportunities • Participate in user story refinement, technical design, code reviews and the teams Agile process • Participate in continuous improvement efforts Qualifications: Required: • Degree in computer science or engineering, or equivalent industry experience • 3+ years (Associate) of experience with Java or other related Object Oriented development language • Experience with microservices architecture and API development • Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases • Ability to establish trusted partnerships with cross functional team members and product owners Preferred: • Source Control Management systems (i.e., SVN, Git) • An understanding of common application architecture design patterns • Experience working in an Agile environment Company: Goldman Sachs is a multinational financial services firm providing securities, investment banking, and management services.
