Wms Performance & Optimization Specialist Location: Remote Type: Contract Pay: $30$40/hour Candidates must reside in Texas or relocate within 2 weeks of offer (no relocation assistance). Overview We are seeking a highly technical Blue Yonder (BY) WMS Specialist with deep expertise in system performance tuning, optimization, and advanced troubleshooting. This role focuses on ensuring BY WMS environments are stable, scalable, and high-performing across warehouse operations. Key Responsibilities Perform advanced performance tuning across BY WMS (database, batch jobs, integrations, real-time services) Analyze performance metrics and identify bottlenecks across application, database, and infrastructure layers Lead root cause analysis and drive long-term remediation Configure and optimize BY WMS modules and system parameters Support integrations, APIs, and messaging frameworks Participate in SIT/UAT and production deployments Develop technical documentation and tuning best practices Required Skills 5+ years hands-on experience with Blue Yonder WMS Strong MS SQL Server performance tuning experience Expertise in SQL / PL-SQL and performance analysis tools Experience analyzing logs, memory usage, and system throughput BY Integrator experience (inbound/outbound flows) Jasper Reports and Zebra label configuration experience Data migration experience (legacy WMS to BY WMS) Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
