Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO)Full Time, Huntsville, ALTS clearance with /SCI eligibility required This position is contingent upon contract award Job Description: The ISSO will provide comprehensive security support for FBI IT systems throughout their lifecycle, ensuring compliance with SAA requirements and maintaining system Authorization to Operate (ATO). Key Responsibilities: Prepare, review, and maintain SAA documentation, including risk assessments and ATO packages.Ensure systems are operated, maintained, and disposed of per FBI and federal policies.Conduct continuous monitoring and compliance activities to maintain system security.Respond to agency and federal data calls, including vulnerability and patch reporting.Act as the primary point of contact for system owners regarding security posture and compliance. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree and 10 years of relevant experience OR Master's Degree and 8 years of relevant experience.Experience in system security documentation, compliance, and continuous monitoring.Knowledge of NIST RMF, FISMA, and federal security standards.Strong communication and organizational skills.Ability to obtain and maintain SCI access. Estimated Locations: NCR (J. Edgar Hoover Building): Majority of ISSOs will be based here.HSV (FBI Campus): Support for systems at the FBI Campus.CJIS (Criminal Justice Information Systems): Minimal presence for CJIS systems.
