Jr Apartment Maintenance Technician

What You'll Do (Day-to-Day)As a Jr. Maintenance Technician, you'll help keep our apartment community running smoothly by supporting repairs, upkeep, and apartment turnover work.Key responsibilities include: Completing work orders and maintenance tasks as assigned Helping prepare apartments for move-in (turnovers), including: Basic appliance repair Punch-out tasks Assisting with resident communication when needed regarding repairs Supporting grounds and curb appeal, including trash pick-up and common area upkeep Reporting safety concerns or property deficiencies and helping repair them Assisting with bulk trash collection and dumpster/compactor upkeep Helping with seasonal tasks including snow removal and shoveling Participating in ongoing training (online + hands-on) to build your maintenance skills Delivering resident notices as needed May join the on-call rotation (if assigned) What We're Looking ForWe're looking for someone who shows up, works hard, and takes pride in doing things the right way.Qualifications: High school diploma or GED (preferred) 1–2 years of related experience/training (or equivalent combination of education/experience) Basic computer/app skills (you'll use maintenance apps and tools) You'll thrive in this role if you are: ✅ Dependable and punctual ✅ A team player with a great attitude ✅ Motivated to learn and improve ✅ Safety-minded and detail-oriented ✅ Comfortable working indoors/outdoors in all seasons Physical Requirements (Real Talk)This is an active, hands-on position.
