GENERAL PURPOSE: The Loss Prevention Agent supports store safety and loss prevention programs by monitoring stores for theft and fraud and follows policies to deter or apprehend individuals after validating dishonest acts have occurred. The Agent works closely with LP Field Leaders, corporate investigators, and external partners to document findings, assist in investigations, and resolve incidents. The Agent ensures a safe shopping and working environment that delivers value to our customers and supports our company values of integrity, respect, accountability, learning, and humility. The base pay range for this role is $19.52 - $28.17. The base pay range is dependent on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, qualifications, relevant education, certifications, seniority, and location. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards vary by position and location. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: u2022 Monitor store entrances, exits, sales floor, and checkout areas to identify theft or fraudulent behavior. u2022 Observe and engage individuals exhibiting dishonest actions to prevent potential loss. u2022 Utilize CCTV, reporting tools, and investigative resources to detect theft indicators and validate incidents. u2022 Accurately document incidents, maintain evidence, and provide timely reports to leadership and Investigations teams. u2022 Partner with leadership and law enforcement to resolve theft cases and support apprehensions when authorized. u2022 Assist with trespass enforcement for repeat offenders in compliance with company policy. u2022 Collaborate with internal teams on major theft incidents and contribute to follow-up investigations. u2022 Identify and report safety hazards and operational vulnerabilities to store management. u2022 Perform additional duties as assigned to support loss prevention objectives. Requires sitting, standing, walking, hearing, talking on the telephone, attending in-person meetings, typing, and working with paper/files, etc. Consistent timeliness and regular attendance. Vision requirements: Ability to see information in print and/or electronically. Must be able to travel. Will require frequent driving. This role requires regular in-office presence, including to engage in in-person team interaction, meetings and collaboration, client support, mentoring, coaching, and/or feedback.
