Locum Urologist Position in Paducah, KY Join the dedicated team at a premier healthcare facility in Paducah, Kentucky, seeking locum Urology coverage starting in 2026! This practice features a collaborative environment with 1 physician and 2 nurse practitioners, delivering high-quality patient care. The requirement is to support the call schedule of 2-3 weekends per month, ensuring comprehensive service coverage for urology consultations, rounds, and necessary procedures. With advanced surgical facilities, including robotics, this role provides a dynamic practice setting. Job Responsibilities: Provide relief for the existing urology team by covering inpatient services. Manage urology call schedule, including consultations and rounding on patients. Perform necessary urological procedures and surgeries as required. Collaborate effectively with the nursing and support staff to ensure optimal patient care. Participate in weekend calls, covering up to 2-3 weekends each month. Utilize onsite labs and imaging for accurate diagnosis and treatment. Qualifications: Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Urology. Experience in general urology and advanced endoscopic techniques. Ability to perform ureteroscopy and hold laser certification. Excellent clinical and interpersonal skills with a commitment to patient care. License and Certification Requirements: KY Medical License preferred (IMLC accepted). BLS/ACLS Certification is mandatory. Flu Shot required. COVID Vaccination is highly preferred. A recent Self-Query NPDB report (dated within 30 days of presentation) is required.
