Position Summary: This position is intended to have overall material responsibility for the materials within their assigned value streams. This includes but isn't limited to the fostering of vendor relationships, providing 12 month rolling forecasts on monthly cadence, conducting vendor calls, following up on past due purchase orders, resolving material shortage issues, working with procurement on contract creation, ensuring inventory accuracy, kanban calculations, kanban audit accuracy, kanban card creation/updating, and vendor master data maintenance. Develops and executes forward-looking purchasing plans that balance cost, inventory health and production demand. Uses data-driven planning to anticipate supply risks, optimize order timing, and maintain stable material flow across assigned value streams. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Day-to-day supplier management, including: Escalation path for when purchase order confirmations are not received and/or delivery dates not confirmed. Develops and executes forward-looking purchasing plans that balance cost, inventory health, and production demand. Uses data-driven planning to anticipate supply risks, optimize order timing, and maintain stable material flow across all value streams Complete ownership of daily management metrics assigned. Includes report out daily, drive to root cause on misses, and implement countermeasures utilizing the Envista problem solving process. Responsible for placing purchase orders of materials for assigned value stream Follow up daily on any past due purchase orders. Attend daily working sessions and resolve any receiving or Accounts Payable issues to facilitate in timely vendor payment. Leading kaizen events for your value streams Partnering with material handling and inventory group in problem solving materials related issues or inventory discrepancies at Gemba. Responsible for vendor calls Sending vendors a 12-month rolling forecast on monthly cadence Partnering with procurement on establishing SAP contracts Responsible for all vendor information updates Facilitate daily root cause analysis for any stock outs Responsible for supplier on time delivery Responsible for attending material review boards, determining the disposition, and executing on sending parts physically back to the vendor or scrap as needed. Additionally responsible for accurately completing all related SAP transactions. Responsible for creating return purchase orders to send parts back to the vendor for processing of parts that can be refurbished to aid in reduction of warranty spend. Responsible for following up with vendors to ensure timely delivery of refurbished parts based on agreed upon lead time with vendors. Responsible for analyzing variances with the inventory team as is required. Ensuring 98% accuracy of all material transactions Responsible for site on time delivery of 96% or greater Responsible for less then 2% net & 4% ABS of inventory variances for value streams that are within scope of responsibility. Other duties as assigned by manager. Job Requirements: Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience 3 years of experience and knowledge of manufacturing & assembly processes 3+ years' experience in ERP Computer skills; including Microsoft Office including advanced Excel knowledge. Preferred Qualifications: Advanced ERP systems, SAP preferred. Excellent communications skills (written & verbal) along with basic understanding of engineering drawings is needed. Experience in JIT/Kanban environment & cellular manufacturing Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 35lbs. Target Market Salary Range: Actual compensation packages take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location; skill sets; relevant education and certifications; depth of experience; performance; and other business and organizational needs. At Envista, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, medical/dental/vision benefits, 401K match, and/or other applicable compensation plans. $64,400 - $96,500 Operating Company: DEXIS
