Our large manufacturing client located in Peoria, Illinois, is looking for a CNC Machinist Team Lead to add to their 3rd Shift team.JOB DESCRIPTION Provide support to 3rd Shift Operation team, with daily production tasks. This role involves identifying and addressing issues that may arise during production, ensuring the team can respond effectively. This role is important for maintaining an efficient production environment, and it typically requires a combination of technical skills, leadership abilities, and a strong understanding of CNC operations.REQUIREMENTS: Strong machining background with 2+ years of experience as a machine operator is requiredMachining knowledge of turning, milling, grinding, and gear cutting.Ability to read blueprints and CMM lab reports is requiredUnderstanding of fixture, tooling and machining processes is criticalUnderstanding of G code programming is required2+ years of experience as Machine OperatorCandidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
