As a Packer, you're responsible for inspecting and packaging plastic products, ensuring they meet quality standards and are ready for shipment. Key Responsibilities Gather, weigh and blend materials. Maintain supply of raw materials to machines (raw material, colors, etc.) Grind material, label regrind, keep grinding area organized and clean. Assists in purging machines and cleaning magnets in the hopper throat. Connect vacuum system to supply material to machines. Document movement of materials and complete all required paperwork. Gather lot control information for Quality Control. Help to monitor inventory levels and advise inventory control of low volumes. Check equipment (blenders, dye feeders, grinders, etc). Unload bulk resin trailers.
