We are looking for a hardworking, intelligent person with a relentless dedication to safety, quality, and customer service to join us as a Truck / Tractor / Diesel Technician. Responsibilities The Technician will be responsible for: Repair and maintenance of commercial trucks, including welding and fabricating Ensuring equipment is DOT compliant Ensuring equipment is operational with minimal downtime Responsible for maintaining a culture of compliance and safety in the workplace by enforcing established policies and procedures Ensures a safe and clean work environment Ability to clearly document cause, complaint, and correction on each repair order Able diagnose and repair issues related to (but not limited to) trailers, some light mechanical on Trailers and Forklifts Able to weld and fabricate Must be able to complete repairs within SRT times Will work on other equipment as necessary Must be on time and present on days schedule to work Qualifications What is XGS looking for in the ideal candidate... Verifiable Experience as a Diesel Technician DOT Inspector Certification Air Brake Certification Electrical Experience Welding and Fabrication experience Ability to lift 50+ pounds Ability to work in all seasonal temperature conditions We offer a Boot Program: $150 allowance after 90 days of employment Receive every 2 years We also offer a Tool allowance: $500 allowance after 90 days of employment Receive annually
