LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with one of our top clients in Ann Arbor, MI to identify an Accounts Payable Specialist for a contracttohire opportunity in a hybrid working schedule (2 remote days/week). The pay for this role is between $24-26/hour depending on years of experience, and benefits are included while on contract! What You'll Be Doing Monitor and manage the accounts payable inbox, reviewing incoming invoices and documentation for accuracy and completeness. Investigate invoice discrepancies or missing information and partner with internal teams to resolve issues. Perform accurate, highvolume invoice entry and ensure timely processing for payment. Review and audit employee and contractor expense reports to ensure compliance with travel and reimbursement policies. Communicate with submitters and approvers to resolve expenserelated questions or exceptions. Maintain and update vendor records in the ERP system, ensuring accurate and complete data. Support the monthend close process, including identifying data that needs to be accrued and routing it to the appropriate team member for followup. Respond promptly and professionally to internal inquiries related to accounts payable. What We're Looking For Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow defined procedures consistently. Selfmotivated, eager to learn, and accountable for personal performance metrics. Excellent communication, organization, and timemanagement skills. Comfortable working in a fastpaced, highvolume AP environment without becoming overwhelmed. Experience & Qualifications 2+ year of experience in fullcycle accounts payable, including invoice processing, expense reporting, accruals, and journal entry exposure. Solid understanding of debits and credits and how AP activity impacts subledgers. Experience identifying data that should be accrued (you will not be booking accruals but must know what to flag and route). Prior experience working in a large organization with high invoice volume. Degree not required (nice to have). Systems & Tools Experience working in a large ERP system (Oracle preferred). Excel skills required, including pivot tables and data manipulation. Expense management system experience a plus (training available if needed). Schedule & Work Hours Monday-Friday Core team hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Flexible options available: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Why This Opportunity?
