Physical Therapist (PT)

Description Evaluates patient's physical, cognitive, perceptual and functional capacities and provides goal-directed treatment to facilitate the development or maintenance of the ability to move and perform functional activities in daily life. Participates in the interdisciplinary process and patient centered care. Provides education to the patient, families and peers relating to the rehabilitation process and to alternative treatment methods. Emphasizes safety techniques and judgment to patients and families and utilizes safety techniques in practice. Provides professional, competent, and culturally sensitive services to the staff, patients and families of MH&M and its Outpatient facilities. Qualifications Masters or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited physical therapy program. Current license to practice as PT in the State of Georgia. Experience Experience preferred.
