Vanpool Fleet Coordinator Under the direction of the Superintendent of Maintenance, Paratransit/Vanpool or designee, the Vanpool Fleet Coordinator is responsible for the maintenance, D.O.T. inspections, new van acceptance, interior/exterior cleaning and distribution/storage of vanpool vans and deployment of assigned and loaner vans. Assists Vanpool Services Representatives in providing technical assistance and support to vanpool groups in the areas of maintenance, fleet operations, van deliveries, accident/incident reporting/tracking, van recall notification/adherence emission testing and fleet inventory. Assists in the development of strategies, policies and recommendations to reduce overall van maintenance repair and accident/incident associated costs. Monitors and reviews fleet, driver and vendor performance using the fleet management vendor's computer system in preventative maintenance repairs and cost controls to assure vans are well maintained in the most efficient and economic manner. Coordinates with fleet management vendor for van surplus sales, maintenance related services and numerous fleet related support contracts. Performing other duties as assigned or required. Qualifications Education: Must have at minimum a high school diploma or equivalent. Experience: Must have at least 2 years' experience in transportation or maintenance with a good work history. Proficiencies: Must demonstrate intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint. Must demonstrate excellent written, oral, organizational, interpersonal and communications skills including good correspondence and report writing skills. Must be able to handle confidential and/or sensitive information in a professional manner. Knowledge of equipment life cycle cost analysis and evaluation is preferred. Physical Requirements This role requires standing for extended periods, typing on a computer, and attending meetings. Must be able to lift objects weighing up to 25 lbs. Working Conditions Work is frequently performed in an outdoor environment, with exposure to extreme weather conditions. Work will also be performed in an office and or indoor environment where the candidate will be sitting for extended periods of time. This position is not eligible for a hybrid work schedule or remote work. Salary Full Salary Range: $40,983-$84,068 Midpoint: $62,526 Anticipated Starting Salary Range: $51,754-$62,526 Pace provides full pay ranges so candidates can consider their long-term growth potential.
