Quality Inspector We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our team. The role involves interpreting specifications and blueprints to ensure products meet dimensional, physical, functional, and visual requirements. You will be responsible for conducting inspections and documenting results in compliance with ISO and FDA standards. Responsibilities: Interpret specifications and blueprints to understand product requirements. Inspect products for quality issues and document findings in the ERP system. Perform part inspections and measure dimensions for incoming, in-process, first piece, and finished workpieces. Utilize precision measuring instruments, such as micrometers, calipers, optical comparators, CMM, or vision machines, along with templates and fixtures. Assist with Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), and manage non-conforming products. Collect and enter data into spreadsheets and databases. Support the disposition of nonconforming products, including customer returns through the RMA procedure. Essential Skills: 3 years of experience in quality inspection. Familiarity with ISO standards. Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments like micrometers and calipers. Additional Skills & Qualifications: Experience with CAPA and NCR processes. Understanding of medical device manufacturing and quality requirements. Experience with ERP systems and data entry. Work Environment: The position is based within a medical device manufacturing and office setting, operating on the 1st shift from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Mandatory overtime may be required on Saturdays, depending on workflow. The role anticipates an increase in business, which could require additional hours per week. Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kenosha, WI. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $21.00/hr.
