E-Commerce Specialist Are you someone who enjoys a mix of hands-on execution and smart optimization - making sure website updates are accurate, campaigns go out cleanly, and reporting is dependable? The Synergy Company is hiring an E-Commerce Specialist to support our direct-to-consumer business. This role supports our marketing operations, where people, process, data, and technology come together to support growth. You'll work across Shopify, Amazon, and CRM (email/SMS) - helping ensure updates, launches, and reporting are handled cleanly and reliably. This role helps keep our website, Amazon storefront, and email/SMS channels accurate, organized, and moving forward - so launches run smoothly, promotions execute cleanly, and performance insights are easy to trust. What you'll do E-Commerce (Shopify + Amazon) Support day-to-day management of our Shopify DTC website (PDP updates, merchandising, promotions, subscriptions/loyalty, launches, and site hygiene) Support day-to-day Amazon operations (account health, listing/backend updates, promo setup, troubleshooting/case management, monitoring issues, and coordination with internal partners as needed) Monitor performance trends, search/SEO opportunities, and testing opportunities (A/B tests, merchandising experiments), and help translate outcomes into next steps CRM (Email + SMS) Build and maintain lists and segments Create and deploy campaigns (email/SMS) and support forms/templates/landing pages as needed Build, test, and maintain flows/automations Track and report performance (engagement, conversion, revenue) and stay current on deliverability and CAN-SPAM best practices Data + Marketing Technology Help maintain dashboards and KPI reporting across Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, Google Analytics, and related tools Review and interpret trends (customer behavior, sales performance, channel/category/SKU shifts) and turn the numbers into a clear story for non-technical audiences - what's happening, why it might be happening, and what to test next Provide backend administration support across e-commerce and marketing tools to keep systems clean and aligned to best practices Pitch in on other projects as needed - Marketing Ops is a "wear a lot of hats" world What you bring We're not looking for someone who has done everything. We're looking for someone who has a solid foundation, is eager to learn, and can bring consistency and care to execution. Strong fit if you have 1+ year of experience in e-commerce, CRM, or marketing operations (3+ years is a plus) Hands-on experience in at least one of these areas: Shopify and/or Amazon e-commerce platforms Email/CRM platforms (Klaviyo, Mailchimp, or similar) A track record of being detail-oriented and organized (you catch small things before they become big problems) Authorization to work in the U.S. and ability to pass a background check Bonus points for Shopify Plus, Amazon Seller Central, Google Analytics, SEO/SEM experience Experience building reporting/dashboards and translating data into meaningful "so what" insights Project management or web content management experience Experience in DTC, consumer packaged goods, or natural products/wellness Work location & hybrid expectations For this round of hiring, we strongly prefer candidates already based in Moab, UT (primary) or Boulder, CO (secondary). The expected in-office rhythm is approximately 34 days per week, with reasonable flexibility for life (appointments, sick kids, etc.). If Boulder-based, occasional travel to Moab may be expected for training and collaboration. Compensation & benefits Salary range: $63,000 $92,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
